Race Director

Mark Livesay is the owner of Ultramax Events, producing more than 35 multi-sport events, including five USA Triathlon National Championships. Mark is an 10-time Ironman finisher, and veteran of countless other triathlon and multisport events.

Ultramax Events is a full-service event production company specializing in event production, chip timing, event management, event marketing and technology services. Our staff knows the world of multi-sport! Ultramax has a USA Triathlon Certified Event Director on staff.

Our event management crew has over 30 years of competition and race-production experience.

Ultramax is focused on expanding the fitness movement and getting people engaged in an active lifestyle. All of our events are beginner friendly and we've added many features to help new people get into the multi-sport world.

Mark and Amy Livesay also own The Starting Block in Columbia, MO. The mission is the same at that store. The Starting Block specializes in helping YOU get STARTED! The name of our store was based on that philosophy.

Our raw enthusiasm and love for multi-sport was the passion and inspiration behind the opening of The Starting Block. Together Mark and Amy have finished hundreds of multi-sport events, including 15 Ironman Triathlons. Among our Ironman finishes is a rare husband-wife appearance at the 2002 Ironman World Triathlon Championships, held on the Big Island of Hawaii. Amy is a certified USA Triathlon coach and two-time USA Triathlon All-American.

Refund Policy

If you must withdraw from an event, you are eligible for a refund of your entry fee and any USAT one-day insurance fees (minus a $25 handling fee). In order to receive your refund, you must send in a completed Refund Request Form, no later than 30 days prior to an event (receipt date is based on the postmark date). We cannot make refunds less than 30 days prior to an event. Exception: Proof of active military service reasons. This is our show of support for our great military.

NOTE: We are not able to tranfer entries to future years.
