Parking Information:
• Friday Parking: On Friday during packet pickup, if you are not staying at the Marina Inn, you will be parking along the upper road along the Transition area. The road will be turned into a one-way street, so you will need to enter on Grande Dunes. There will be signs directing you to the correct road. All traffic will need to follow Marina Inn Parkway to 79th Street to exit onto Highway 17.
• Saturday Parking: All athletes, spectators, and volunteers will be allowed to park on both sides of Grande Dunes between Highway 17 and Business 17. Grande Dunes will be closed or traffic limited between 4:30 am and 6:00 pm. The parking will be managed by parking attendants. It will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you are planning on staying for the Awards Ceremony and you are parked on Grande Dunes, you will need to make sure you car is moved before 6:00 pm, or you will risk getting towed, as the road will be reopened at this time.
Spectator Information: Please plan to watch the event from the race site. Any additional traffic on the course adds to your inconvenience and could compromise your safety, as well as the athletes' safety.
Download the Traffic & Event Flow Map to see the layout of Parking and Traffic Flow for race day Saturday.
Course Information:
NOTE: You will be body-marked the morning of the race. You will receive a bike number that must be worn on your bike during the race. You will also receive a bib number which must be worn during the run. We recommend using a race belt. Your number should be in the front when you finish.

PLEASE - Be familiar with the course! All courses will be manned by volunteers and law enforcement, but it is still your responsibility to know where you are going and to keep yourself safe. All courses will be closed to vehicle traffic. It always helps to drive the course beforehand as best as you can so that you have a better idea of what you will be doing on race day.
Bike Course Water Stations: There will be TWO water bottle exchange points on the Halfmax Course. The first will be located on your way out on the bike course, leaving the Marina Inn. The second station will be located on Highway 31 when you get to the turnaround point near the Highway 501 Exit. Bottled water and bottled gatorade will be available.
Run Course Aid Stations: There will be THREE aid stations located on the run courses approximately every 1-1.5 miles. Please see the maps for approximate locations. Aid stations will be on each side of the road so athletes will hit each on the way out on the course as well as on the way in. Each aid station will have at the minimum water, gatorade, Endurolytes, gels, assorted fruit (oranges, bananas), cookies, and light first aid.
Aquabike Finisher Information: To finish the aquabike, you will ride your bike into transition just like the triathlon through the Bike In door. You will rack your bike and run out of transition through the Run Out door where you will run to the end of the barricade. You will then turn into the finish line chute to cross the finish line. Your time will not stop until you cross the finish line and you cannot cross the finish line on your bike. There will be volunteers to guide you.
Packet Pickup: All teammates must be present at some point to pick up their packet. Each member's ID must be checked, just like a normal individual entrant. Be sure to bring your photo ID along with your USAT Membership Card if you are an annual member.
Timing Chips: Your team will be issued one single timing chip, which will be "passed" between each discipline. There will be a specific area of transition in which all teams will be staged. You will exchange your chip there. Only the runner needs to wear the racer bib.
The Marina Inn at Grande Dunes is located off of Highway 17 and Grande Dunes at 8121 Amalfi Place, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.
