Photogliff
is NOW the official photography service of Ultramax Events. Photogliff will be providing custom finish photos and staged green screen photos at our events all season long.

SPECIAL ATTRACTION: Photogliff will setup a green background screen at each event. They can take your picture(s) at the finish or with friends, family whatever you like. Their staff will then superimpose your image onto a custom designed Ultramax background. They will print those photos onsite and can even include the race name, finish time or any other unique statement you like. You can preview the photo before you decide to purchase, no obligation. All of this can be done on-site. Purchase those photos on-site!

Timing System and Chip Notice

Ultramax Events will be using the IPICO Timing System at the event this year. This will eliminate the need to pick up a chip on race morning. Please follow the simple instructions carefully. Not wearing the transponder properly may prevent you from being timed. Transponders are non-transferable! Be careful not to switch with other participants. The chip must be on your shoe at all times or you will not be scored in the event. Your timing chip will be removed by volunteers once you reach the finish line. If you find you still have your timing chip after the race, please put it in a padded envelope and mail to: Ultramax Events 2902 Forum Blvd Suite 101 Columbia, MO 65203. YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $30 REPLACEMENT FEE IF YOU DO NOT RETURN YOUR TIMING TRANSPONDER Failure to return a chip will result in disqualification from all future events owned or timed by Ultramax Events!

TEAMS Teams will transfer their timing chip in the transition area. The last member of the team should wear the race number on the run leg. We recommend using a race belt for easy transfer. The timing chip must be on the ankle of each team member at all times while racing.

Weather

Average High 91°F
Average Low 71°F
Mean 81°F
*Good News - It's never been 100 degrees on this day in July! Plan accordingly. Starting early in the morning has worked very well for the runners last year.

Training

Questions? - Visit the Training Page, and ask Training Bible Midwest Coaches all of your questions.

Teams

Teams can be 2-4 people. Teams of 2 people will each run one lap of the course. Teams of 4 will split the course as outlined below:

Team Member Handoffs will be at Aid Station #3(Shaefer Dr and Dorsett RD Aid Station) and #6 (Progress Pkwy near start line)

  • Runner 1 = Approximately 3.5 miles - Begins leg at the Starting Line
  • Runner 2 = Approximately 3.0 miles - Begins leg at Aid Station #3
  • Runner 3 = Approximately 3.5 miles - Begins leg at Aid Station #6
  • Runner 4 = Approximately 3.0 miles - Begins leg at Aid Station #3

Your team is responsible for transporting team members to and from the handoffs (the end of the 1st lap/aid station 5 is approximately at the start line). All parts of the course are accessible by road.

You will "handoff" by transferring your team's time chip from the finished runner to the next runner. Your team will have only one time chip, and it MUST cross the finish line in order to get a time.
