The Venue

Lake Shawnee is a truly wondrous lake located in Topeka, KS, and is operated by Shawnee County Parks and Recreation. Lake Shawnee has hosted the Topeka TINMAN for 29 glorious years and even has a street located at the lake appropriately named Tinman Lane.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

Topeka is conveniently located along I-70 one hour west from Kansas City. 
If coming from the East (Turnpike) or West on I-70, exit I-70 in East Topeka at the SE Carnahan Ave/SE Deer Creek Pkwy Exit.
If coming from the North on US-75, after crossing the Kansas River, take I-70 East and follow the directions above.
If coming from the South on the Turnpike, take the South Topeka exit.

  • Friday, June 18th - Topeka Hy-Vee - View Map
    • Please note that Hy-Vee is approximately 20 minutes from the race site, so if you are planning on visiting the race site on this day, plan accordingly!
