Timing Services

AMB CHIPX TIMING TECHNOLOGY
Ultramax Events uses the very latest in timing chip technology. The AMB ChipX Timing System is one of the most advanced chip timing system available ?today. The ChipX system can accurately score up to 80 ProChips per second, at speeds up to 45 mph.

Ultramax owns four timing point/stations. These timing boxes have complete flexibility to fit your event needs. When athletes pass over the ChipX detection loops, the transponders transmit their unique signal. This signal is picked up by the loop and this data is transferred to the ChipX decoder and delivered live via our networked computer system.

The detection loop is adjustable from 6m (20ft) to a full 12m (39ft) depending on your course layout needs. The loop/wires can be taped directly to the course surface or even embedded in the ground, sand, even in water. Installation takes just a few minutes and since the system requires no bulky timing mats, it is very compact and portable. NO MORE BULKY MATS

This system eliminates those traditional bulky mats and the width limitations that go with them.? AMB systems are used at NASCAR, UCI World Cycling Championships, Triathlon World Championships, X-Games, Tour de France and in the Olympic Games.

Road Running, Triathlon and Cycling Events
